I was actually baffled when it came to the German's level of importance when it comes to the difference between drinking and recycling. I understand Germany's complex methods of trying to be eco-friendly, even though they could be said to be overkill, but it's the Sunday's that are confusing to me. I don't think that someone should be allowed to get ham-sauced (aka drunk) on a Sunday if they can't even recycle their goods. This seems kind of hypocritical in the light that they say they're so eco-friendly, but when Monday morning comes it's a pig pen. Maybe I'm over thinking the idea but isn't that what could be assumed by an ignorant American on the topic? Otherwise I think their complex system is very good, but Sunday baffles me.
