I spoke a sentence auf Deutsch in my dream last night. I woke up and felt kinda good about that. As for the kulturtexte, I thought it was interesting. I forget sometimes just how passionate Europeans are about soccer, which I have yet to experience as a spectator. That anything to do with soccer should be an appropriate comeback for an insult like publishing pictures of the naked posterior of the Chancellor makes me laugh.
The lack of housing in Tübingen for students reminds me of my visit to Boston College, where they have much the same arrangement. I think something near 25% of students at the school get housing on the small campus, and most of them are athletes. Considering the location, outside housing is by no means cheap.
Anyway, these are my thoughts.
