AMD for absence (2)

For this AMD I chose to skype my friend, Maike, from germany. We spoke for about a half hour. She would speak in german and I would try to figure out what she said, if there were parts of her sentence I couldn't figure out she would tell me in english. I also spoke in german, and of course had to throw a bit of english in there.  But I was impressed with how wide of a range of topics we could cover with my beginner level german knowledge. She however, did make fun of my accent and how slowly I spoke :p
